General Swedish conditions governing package travel apply to this arrangement.
1) General
Persons participating do so entirely at their own risk. In certain cases, trips make demands on the participant’s physical and mental condition. It is the responsibility of each participant to take out travel insurance covering his or her person and property. Participants are advised to review their home insurance.
It is the responsibility of the participant to observe applicable customs and currency regulations. For the duration of the stay, it is the responsibility of the participant to arrive at the agreed place and time for a transfer and to follow directions given by persons in a position of responsibility. Extra costs arising from participants missing agreed transfers will not be borne by Arctic Fishing.
Responsibility for the group during all our trips lies with the designated guide on the spot. It is the responsibility of the participant to listen and to comply with instructions given by the guide for the participant’s safety.
2) Regarding helicopter transport to and from the mountains
In the event of inclement weather causing flights to be cancelled, accommodation at a suitable place will be provided at our expense. The customer will be flown to the mountains as soon as weather permits and the trip home from the mountains will take place according to the time-table originally advertised.
If the return journey from the mountains cannot take place due to inclement flying weather, then the participants will spend an extra night in the mountains and will be flown home as soon as weather permits. Note that missed train and scheduled air connections, late arrival for meetings, and lost income from employment etc., will not be remunerated by Arctic Fishing if caused by inclement weather.
3) Cancellations
Arctic fishing maintains the right to retain or demand payment for costs incurred through the cancellation of a pre-booked trip. Examples of the costs incurred would include, but are not limited to, booking deposits paid by Arctic Fishing for products, services or activities which cannot be cancelled without cancellation costs being incurred by Arctic Fishing.
In addition, the costs for currency fluctuations, exchange rate costs and/or the costs incurred for depositing cheques are contained within our booking terms and conditions.
The date of cancellation will be taken as the date of receipt of a cancellation letter. Please note that all cancellations should be made in writing and are required to be signed and forwarded to Arctic Fishing to enable the cancellation of a pre-booked trip.
